    Transparent Fees. No Surprises.

There is a one-time $250 fee that covers your onboarding and financial plan implementation. After that, ongoing planning starts at $75/month. For investment management, a 1.00–1.50% annual AUM fee applies. The monthly fee is waived once you reach $100,000 in managed assets.

    What Fee-Only Actually Means

The majority of financial advisors earn commissions when they sell you products: insurance policies, annuities, specific mutual funds. That creates a built-in conflict of interest between what's best for them and what's best for you.

A fee-only advisor is compensated exclusively by client fees. No commissions. No referral payments. No product sales. When you pay us, that's the only way we earn money, which means our interests are always aligned with yours.

Chris is a fiduciary, which means he's legally required to act in your interest. That's the standard Villaire Financial is registered under with the SEC.

    Fiduciary vs. Traditional Financial Advisors

"I couldn't be more grateful for Villaire Financial and the support I feel with Chris as my advisor. I feel far more confident about my finances than I did on my own. You Don't Need $250,000 to Get a Real Financial Plan.

Most wealth management firms won't work with you until you've already built significant assets. That's backwards. The decisions you make in your 20s and 30s about savings rate, tax strategy, debt, and investing have a larger impact on your long-term wealth than most decisions you'll make later.

Villaire Financial was built specifically to serve young professionals who are making good money and making important financial decisions, but haven't yet accumulated the kind of assets the big firms require.

No minimums. No gatekeeping. Just an honest conversation about whether we're a good fit.

    Fee Questions, Answered

Are there any fees beyond what you list here?

No. There are no hidden fees, referral payments, or commissions of any kind. The fees described here are all you pay. ETF expense ratios within your portfolio are disclosed separately. These are standard fund-level costs, not advisor compensation.

Do you charge a percentage of my assets?

If we manage your investments, a 1.00–1.50% annual fee applies to managed assets, billed quarterly and disclosed clearly before you begin. For clients who want financial planning without investment management, only the monthly flat fee applies.

Is the monthly planning fee ever waived?

Yes. The monthly planning fee is waived for clients with $100,000 or more in assets under management with Villaire Financial. At that level, the investment management fee covers the ongoing planning relationship.

What if I only want investment management, not a full financial plan?

We don't offer investment management as a standalone service. Managing a portfolio without understanding your full financial picture (taxes, cash flow, debt, retirement timeline) leads to worse outcomes. Our approach is always comprehensive.

Can I see the fee details in writing before signing anything?

Yes. All fees are disclosed in writing in your advisory agreement and in our Form ADV Part 2, which is available on this site. You'll have everything in writing before you're asked to commit to anything.
